Shakespeare & Company in Paris, France

I was a little depressed in Paris when I went in October. I feel a little silly saying that, because I was in PARIS, but I felt kind of lonely and cold and weird there when I wasn’t spending time with lovely Gina, who makes all things fun but especially Paris.
Anyway, to get myself out of the doldrums (and to warm up; on Saturday, it was so cold I was forced to buy one of those six euro scarves that you can buy in any shop at all, and I thought the one I bought was like the most beautiful, luxurious thing ever, until the day warmed up and I realized it was fugimus maximus, excuse my Latin), I popped into Shakespeare and Co. It’s so dumb, because I’d only been in France for like eighteen hours, but hearing people speak English—especially with American accents, because at least some of the staff was definitely American, or at least Canadian—made me feel a whole lot better. Also, books. Books are the balm of my soul, y’all.
That story was apropos of nothing, but this pic from inside Shakespeare and Co. came across my dash today and I thought, why not bore people with a non-story? It’s lunchtime.
