Okay, so obviously I love this trailer, for so many reasons. Let me count them for you here:

1. This book (Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood) is so good, you guys. It’s fun and sexy and magical and you should all read it. You know I don’t just say these things lightly! I’ve read Born Wicked four times (FOUR, and that is not even an exaggeration), and it gets better every time.
2. The trailer was Emilie’s project, and Emilie is my work twin/one of my favorite people ever.
3. FINN. How HOT is that guy?
4. SO MUCH KISSING. A lot of YA book trailers tease you with almost kisses, but this one has a lot of great kissing. So does this book. And you know how much I love kissing books.
5. The music. I love the way it swells during the kissing scene.
6. CGI magic! Literal magic. Note the way Cate makes the flowers bloom when Finn looks over at her at the end.
7. The actors seem really cool. This behind-the-scenes video of the shoot is my current favorite thing.
